La Grange de Vidal

La Grange de Vidal was built and owned by the Soutreynon family for over 250 years. The main house was built in 1781 to replace the older farmhouse which still exists and is now being used as a workshop. The main house was then added to in 1864. Attached to the main house are a large and small barn, with stables beneath the large barn. Opposite the front door is a small "bachat" containing two hewn stone troughs, filled by the overflow of the spring which supplies water to the house. The house was sold for the first time by the Soutreynon family in 1996, and then again to the current owners in 2001.
