Situation
The house is 2.5 kilometers from the village which has a Post Office, two bars, a hotel and restaurant, a small supermarket , two primary schools and a retirement home as well as a garage, carpenters, masons and a number of other artisans.
Seven kilometers further down the valley is the town of Bourg-Argental with two supermarkets, two banks, three estate agents, restaurants, hairdressers and bars.
St Etienne is 30 minutes drive away and Lyon just over one hour. St Exupery airport, with direct flights to over a hundred destinations, and including low-cost flights to the UK, is one and a quarter hours drive away.
The mediterranean is 3 hours drive away; the Alps an hour and a half away.
