La Grange de Vidal

The property enjoys a very priviliged natural setting with unpolluted air and water as well as the wonderful views and amazing wildlife. All the water is provided by a permanent and profuse spring of soft chemical-free water. This is one of the intangible pleasures of living in such an enviroment, not only does it bring out the full taste of your Pastis but it also is very kind on skin and clothes.

Next stop the sky ! With an altitude of almost 1000 metres the air is pure and unpolluted, it is possible on clear days to look across the Rhone valley and see the majestic Mont Blanc one hundred and ninety kilometers away !

Nothing goes Bump in the night ! The area is geologically stable and remote from most sources of noise and vibration. As such it has been selected as a European siesmographic observation post, hidden away in a disused railway tunnel and linked by satellite to the University of Clermont Ferrand volcanic research center.
